My Youngest father
For awareness and clarity:
There are four children connected to my husband.
- One lives safely with her mother under a protection order.
- One is being raised by his maternal grandparents after his mother left. They are protecting him from his father.
- One lives in my care, far from their father — he has no contact or real information without crossing boundaries.
- The youngest was born prematurely and spent time in the NICU. Recently, I saw a post suggesting that the baby nearly lost his life while in his father’s care.
This is the reality of my husband and his children.
He often presents himself online as stable — mentioning multiple bank accounts, steady work in childcare, Medicaid coverage, and advocacy against domestic violence.
Yet, behind that image is a very different story.
If stability were true, child support for his eldest would be paid.
If he truly valued fatherhood, he would show consistent care and responsibility for all of his children — not leave a trail of fear, hospital stays, and broken families.
I share this not out of spite, but out of honesty.
I married him, and it’s something I’ve carried deep regret for every day since.
